In Flinto Lite, content you uploaded to our server stays inside of our server and will never go out any other services except when you voluntarily share the content with someone else. You then go through the relatively quick process of wiring them together into a prototype. Your sketch file gets loaded into Invision which automatically creates a page for every artboard. My experience having done it for a few years is it's not very effective compared to some of the options out there (like Slack, Invision and so on) You need to get user feedback early and often as you design and build the app.Īny feedback happens through emails or meetings with clientsĮmail is always there as an option for collaboration. No matter how much you think you understand your users you will never hit the mark 100%. Sprinkled throughout this process will be edits and changes from user feedback and from stakeholders. Start to flesh out user interactions with Flinto.Link all screens together in simple or high fidelity images.It's too tempting to just start throwing animations on components and creating complex interactions before figuring out how it all fits into the scope of the entire project. You are bound to have glaring omissions in your workflow and UX issues if you don't take the time to plan things out prior to hopping into fun tools like Flinto. The screens in InVision could be basic hand-drawings or they could be high fideltiy mock-ups.īut either way, you shouldn't be working in Flinto until you have mocked up up the entire workflow in - at the very least - basic drawings and simple images. And it's web-based so it's great for collaborating across medium to large teams and easily sharing presentations with stakeholders. InVision is just for linking screens together. If feel like Flinto is a tool for the part of the design process that is two steps ahead of what InVision is designed for.įlinto is for high fideltiy micro-interactions for a very specific platform and device.
